Know Your Enemy
Recognize the enemy: Evil, the World, and the Self — paired Story and Scripture lessons.
Series overview
02 – Know Your Enemy trains recognition: enemies often look like friends. The series moves from recognizing the enemy → Evil → the World → Yourself, each with Story and Scripture tracks.
From the library
Opening story lesson uses Operation Griffin (Battle of the Bulge) — disguised soldiers in friendly uniforms — as a picture of how the Berzerker’s enemies approach claiming to help. The self is named as the biggest enemy: the heart that wants what it wants, when it wants it.
Scripture tracks lean on Proverbs 27:6, Ephesians 6 armor language, John 16:33 (“take heart; I have overcome the world”), and Jeremiah 17:9 on the deceitful heart.
Paraphrased from OCR of 002-1 through 002-4 story + Scripture source files.
